But I still insist that Nancy McKeon and Val Kilmer are related. Come on, they could be identical twins. OK shut up. I still think so.

    True Story: So I was standing at the counter of a busy breakfast place in Rockefeller Center this morning, waiting for my bagel to be illprepared, and I allowed my mind to wander away from the pissy “He’s shmearing all wrong and only one side, and that tomato is totally green!” to a more pleasant “Hey, remember Nancy Mckeon? She was so pretty. Her look, it was so handsome, so 1/2 Cherokee great, great grandmother, so, so……so VAL! Yes! Nancy looks like Val! Then I wondered if anyone else has ever thought of this, or is it just me and my uncanny knack for calculated feature recognition/comparrison (that no one else is advanced enough to see). I made a mental note to google this later.

    Two hours later, at my desk in my cubed hell and being sapped of precious vitamin D by the accusing florescent glarebears above me, I remembered my morning wander and I dialed in the coordinates…..To my pure delight, your comments and side by side comparisson were the first things I saw! I feel so validated. And I smile, no longer the only one.

    I was born in ‘77 & grew up watching the Facts of Life frequently. In ‘88 or ‘89 I watched “Willow” for the first time & loved it. Val Kilmer was so handsome. Then one day he reminded me of Nancy McKeon AKA Jo & this caused me to become confused. I thought perhaps it was Val’s long dark hair so my sis’ & I started watching Val in “Top Secret”. I thought the shorter blonde hair would prevent the Nancy resemblence. Well I was wrong. Nancy is a very beautiful woman & Val is a very handsome man, but they look as if their related.

    I with you on this. I just finished watching Topgun and when I saw Va Kilmer I remember the girl from Facts of Life. So I did a search, cuz i always wondered if they were related, and sure enough they lokk identical mto me.

    OMG I KNOW RITE! :) THEY LOOK SO MUCH ALIKE! AND I JUST WATCHED TOP SECRET WITH VAL KILMER AND THE FACTS OF LIFE WITH NACY MCKEON AND I WAS LIKE.. THEY GOTTA BE SIBILINGS.. I WISH THEY WERE! THAT WOULD BE SUPER COOL! :)
